Ordinarily, we'd only recommend using one major call to action in a single send-out and this includes just having one link in an e-mail that you would want to measure.
But, I want to know who is interested in what of a number of things?
Yes, of course there are exceptions, and you likely want to get a list of people interested in A, B, and C respectively.
This is how you do it:
1) You create your lists, say:
"Clicked on A from Newsletter sendout wk 33"
"Clicked on B from Newsletter sendout wk 33"
"Clicked on C from Newsletter sendout wk 33"
Obviously, these will be empty from the start.
2) Now, you create the corresponding three page-action on the pages the links lead to, saying that you want to add people to the corresponding list.
3) Ta da, done!
But, how do I distinguish specific clicks in the future, since the page-action is applied to one page at a time?
Sometimes, you may want to track clicks to the same page but that you want should be unique for each send-out. You may e.g. want to add a new:
"Clicked on B from Newsletter sendout wk 34"
...on the following week.
Then, what you do is create a new trackable link for every time you'll want to link to the same page, and then add each to a separate list.
