How to add a domain with international characters:

Say you want to add domain åäö.se to your cPanel, its going to give you a nice error about special characters.

What you will need to do is get the Punycode (ACE) version of the domain, it would have a xn-- prefix.

A site you can use to encode this for you is http://www.idnstuff.com/

For åäö.se the Punycode version is xn--4cab6c.se

Then just add xn--4cab6c.se as an addon/parked domain in cPanel.

This will also work when signing up for a hosting account. Just sign up with domain xn--4cab6c.se and your Greek, Swedish, Cyrillic or whatever characters should work!
