(Permissions & Roles) What can an admin, manager, content manager and agent do? Print

In Otto, you have the possibility to set an unlimited number of roles with different permission levels.

To make it a little easier, there are four roles added from scratch, and considering two of them (agent and content manager) are more limited, they will also come at a reduced per user price.

The default roles are:

Superadmin: All permissions, and will see everything as the name implies.

Manager: Most permissions, except a few configurations options will be hidden in order to de-clutter the view.

Agent: Your typical sales representative who will most often need an as de-cluttered view as possible. Generally, it will be possible to do everything you can do with a contact for an agent, but an agent will not be able to create new content, like newsletters, sequence, forms etc. N.B.: An agent can be a list-owner, such that he/she can be made the sender of information.

Content Manager: A little bit the opposite of an agent, that will be useful if you want someone to be able to create all content, but perhaps not view your contacts.
